Goodwin, Ronald: “Main Title” aus dem Film “633 Squadron”

The musical score of 633 Squadron was written by the British composer Ron Goodwin and became very popular and well known to the public after the film’s initial release. The theme was adapted for the computer games 1942 and Into the Eagle’s Nest. It was used for TV advertisements for an insurance company during the early 2000s. It has also become a standard part of the repertoire of the RAF (Royal Air Force) bands, most recently included in an album marking the 100th Anniversary of the RAF. The RCAF Band also played the theme for their 75th anniversary. Cozy Powell did a version of the theme on his album Octopuss in 1983.
